    I'm a freelance advertising creative and copywriter based in Vancouver.

    I'm always on the hunt for something cool and fun to work on. In the process, I've also managed to write a lot of collateral postcards.

    Telus / Hockey Canada — Online Video

    I wrote this script for Telus and Hockey Canada, to introduce their new nationwide minor hockey program dedicated to cyberbullying awareness and prevention.

    BC Securities Commission— Song & Online Video

    A song with catchy lyrics is an effective teaching tool. It's worked for Sesame Street and Schoolhouse Rock. So when the BC Securities Commission wanted to do a campaign to help people learn the warning signs of investment fraud, we figured it would also work for a securities regulator.

    Granville Island Brewing — Web Video Series

    Granville Island Brewing wanted to expand beyond their seasonal radio campaigns. Our team wrote and produced 'GIB Interventions', a web series that parodied the hit A&E show of the same name. These are the two I co-wrote with team at Publicis Vancouver.

    Family Services of Greater Vancouver — PSA

    Family Services provides a wider variety of charitable services than one TV spot could ever cover. So we chose to focus on the help they provide to children in abusive homes.

    Rogers Video — TV Spot

    For those old enough to remember the days of renting DVDs, you'll also remember what a big deal it was when Rogers Video eliminated late fees. For those too young to know what I'm talking about, never mind. I'm painfully jealous of your youth. That's all you need to know.

    Canadian Direct Insurance — TV Spot

    Canadian Direct Insurance was well-known for its competitive rates, but they wanted to do a campaign that focused on how their customer service shattered people's perceptions about insurance.

    It's not often that a TV campaign gets reviewed by the Financial Post. Especially a humorous campaign. Or intended to be humorous, at least. ICBC didn't think it was funny.

    When it comes to vacations, Burnaby isn't a relaxing, 'toes in the sand' kind of place. It's for people seeking an active holiday — in other words, it's for doers. So I made it their tagline, the concept for their entire site and the basis for all the copy.

    I wrote their tagline, game descriptions, key personnel bios and their recruitment page — which was the page they cared about most, as it seems recruiting talented programmers is a real dogfight in the gaming industry.
